About Emjecting

We are a small team of advanced-practice healthcare providers with more than 60 years of combined inpatient clinical experience. We are island locals, each of us lives here, raises our families here, and remains deeply invested in the health and well-being of this community.

First and foremost, we are medical providers. In addition to our aesthetic practice, our clinicians remain active in other healthcare roles, allowing us to stay clinically grounded, current, and informed by the rapidly evolving healthcare landscape. This perspective guides every decision we make and every recommendation we offer.

Our practice was created for individuals who value education, expertise, and a measured approach to aesthetic care. We believe the most meaningful results come from collaboration, through thoughtful dialogue, realistic expectations, and a shared commitment to subtle, progressive change over time. Our goal is not dramatic transformation, but preservation, balance, and ultimately maintenance.

Rather than chasing trends or promoting the “latest and greatest,” we offer a deliberately curated selection of treatments chosen for their safety, scientific support, and proven long-term outcomes. Most aesthetic goals are best achieved through a thoughtful plan over 6–24 months, often incorporating more than one modality in conservative measure. We are always transparent about what a treatment can, and cannot, do.

We are proudly referral-based and intentionally understated in our marketing. This allows us to remain authentic, selective, and focused on providing a consistently high standard of care. To support this approach, we intentionally limit the number of patients we see each day and maintain a thoughtful, streamlined visit structure that allows us to deliver care with consistency and intention.

We offer complimentary consultations and will occasionally recommend care outside our practice when it is in your best interest. Our primary responsibility is not to sell treatments, but to guide ethically, even when that means recommending a service we do not provide.

Above all, we value trust. If you are seeking a calm, science-driven environment where aesthetic care is approached with integrity, restraint, and respect for individuality, we look forward to working together.

Emilie

DNAP, MSNA, CRNA, APRN

Emilie has been working in healthcare for over 20 years. She graduated with honors from Medical College of Georgia’s BSN program and worked in hospital CVICU’s caring for post open heart and transplant surgical patients in Georgia and California. During her time as a critical care nurse, she served as President of the Atlanta Chapter of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses.

She was then accepted into the top Anesthesia program in the country where she completed her Masters and Doctorate studies in Nurse Anesthesia. For a decade and a half as an anesthesia specialist, she has cared for all ages during a variety of surgical cases from cataracts to craniotomies.

She has enjoyed being a member of specialized anesthesia teams for obstetrics, orthopedics and eye surgery, as regional anesthesia procedures such as epidurals, spinals and eye blocks are some of her favorite skills. Emilie has excellent attention to detail and is a proud science “nerd” with a mission to be a lifelong learner. She attends multiple advanced trainings per year as aesthetics is a an ever evolving specialty.

Emilie has trained with some of the biggest and most respected names in the aesthetic industry including Julie Horne, Dr Arthur Swift, Dr Sebastian Cotofana, Rana Kennelly, Dr Thuy Doan, Nicola Lowery, Lori Robertson, Injector Kenz, Dr Theresa Huyen and many others.

Emilie and her family reside on Amelia Island and love the sense of community that is unique here. She feels fortunate to have had local support for her small business and been able to grow to mentor and employ other talented local moms pursuing their dreams. A true introvert by nature, Emilie enjoys spending quality time with her family and close friends, reading, creating, traveling and dog cuddles.

Jessica

DNP, MSN, APRN

Jessica has worked in healthcare for over a decade, most recently as a Nurse Practitioner with a local surgical group. While she values the clinical precision of that role, she found herself drawn to an environment that allowed for deeper connection, creativity, and truly individualized patient care.

As Jessica shares, “Aesthetics has been the perfect fit because it allows me to combine hands-on medicine with really listening to people. I love creating thoughtful, personalized treatment plans that respect each client’s goals, safety, and natural features.” Her approach is calm, intentional and centered on trust, education, and long-term skin health.

Jessica brings a strong clinical foundation to aesthetic medicine and is committed to ongoing growth. Her advanced training includes injectables education through Injectables EDU, AMET, training with internationally recognized injector and complications expert Dr. Tim Pearce, advanced technique training with Injector Kenz, and completion of an advanced cadaver-based anatomy course with Dr. Rainone, known for his expertise in cannula safety and technique. She also attends conferences and continuing education opportunities to stay current with evolving techniques and best practices.

She is passionate about helping clients feel confident and comfortable in their own skin and is especially mindful of creating a safe, pressure-free experience—one that stands in contrast to the rushed schedules common in modern healthcare. One of her favorite treatments is laser resurfacing, which she values for its ability to meaningfully improve skin quality and overall confidence.

Outside of the clinic, Jessica is Emjecting’s multi-talented creative; she enjoys baking, gardening, and crocheting, and brings that same patience, attention to detail, and thoughtfulness into her work with clients.

A true island native, Jessica grew up in Fernandina Beach. After leaving to pursue her education, she was grateful to return home to raise her three children (and many animals) while serving the community she calls home.

Jessica looks forward to partnering with each client in a thoughtful, supportive, and individualized approach to aesthetic care.

Jennifer

MSN, APRN, FNP-C

Jennifer is a Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in primary care and vascular medicine, bringing a strong clinical foundation and a thoughtful, patient-centered approach to aesthetic care.

She joined Emjecting in the fall of 2025 after training with Rana Kennelly at The Confidence Lab in Chicago and completing advanced injectables education with Dr. Tim Pearce, a leading international authority on injection technique and complication management. She has also completed an advanced cadaver-based injectables course with Dr. Russo, providing an in-depth understanding of facial anatomy and safety, and has expanded her training through clinical shadowing with internationally recognized injector Dan Julien, NP, in Canada. In addition, Jennifer has completed advanced, in-depth microneedling and skin treatment training with a specialized focus on scar management.

Jennifer remains deeply committed to continued education and is regularly participating in advanced conferences, courses, and ongoing mentorship, following the same high standards of excellence and continual learning that define the Emjecting practice.

Known for her warm presence and attentive listening, Jennifer enjoys partnering with patients to create personalized treatment plans centered on their goals, comfort, and long-term skin health.

As she continues to grow her aesthetic practice at Emjecting, Jennifer is currently welcoming new patients and offering special introductory treatment opportunities as she builds lasting relationships within our island community.

Outside of the clinic, Jennifer lives locally on the island with her husband, Robby, a firefighter, and their two children. They share their home with two dogs and a beloved bearded dragon and enjoy being part of the island community they are proud to serve.
